Do you take my insurance?
At this time, I do not work directly as an in-network provider. All services provided would be under an Out Of Network benefit. You can absolutely call your insurance provider to verify how much reimbursement you can receive for Out of Network (OON) Behavioral Health services (billing codes can be provided upon request) and I can also easily check your OON benefit coverage as well to help you make an educated decision. If you choose to submit for reimbursement, I can provide a “superbill” monthly or we can also use a third party platform to automatically submit your reimbursement for you for a small fee.
Is telehealth Just as effective
as in person therapy?
Research in this area has affirmed that video-based care is just as effective as in-person therapy. Whether your reasons for trying Telehealth are due to your illness/symptoms, convenience, or time saving, rest assured that you will still get excellent treatment planning, care, and access to the same hand outs and resources via my Telehealth platform.
I prefer IN-Person sessions, is that an option?
Yes. I do have limited availability for in-person meetings upon request in the Greenwich, CT area. The exact location of that space is subject to change.
How long will I be in therapy?
Many episodes of care under Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help people to achieve meaningful goals and symptom reduction within 16-20 sessions. Some people elect to continue with care for maintenance or new issues, some achieve their goals in much less time. Much of this variance comes down to your readiness to commit to the process and the exercises that promote positive change.
Please reach out if you have additional questions or clarifying questions about any of the above.
